Hold Onto Your Dreams

The thief comes to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
~John 10:10~

What vision has God placed in your heart? Has He given you a promise that seems like something impossible to fulfill? If it is a promise from God, it could very likely be unthinkable in your present circumstances. After all, God enjoys confounding human wisdom, specifically our carnal reasoning.

Even when the promise seems implausible, hold fast to it, stand firm, and keep the dream alive. These are the actions God expects us to take. When He plants a promise in our spirit, It's up to us to believe His Word. Be alert to the enemy's trickery. He comes in many disguises to "steal and kill and destroy," and he may try to steal your future by destroying the vision God has planted deep in your spirit.

The book of Hebrews tells us that Moses was able to leave the security of Egypt "by faith...not fearing the king's anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible" (11:27). Moses had a vision of the invisible. He had faith in God's promises.

Will you take God at His word? Will you believe the vision He has placed in our hearts? Hold on to His promise. It is your future and your life.
