On Saturday, February 14, 2004, we had a beautiful winter storm that lasted
all day. It is unusual here in southeastern Oklahoma and North Texas to get
snowfall like this. Sometimes a whole winter goes by without any snowfall at
all. So when we get it, we are all delighted! The forecasters call for
temperatures in the upper 40's tomorrow, so it will likely all be gone in a
day or two. But it sure is pretty while we have it!
Last night when we went to bed, they were not sure if we would get any
snow, but thought we "probably" would get some - some will get a dusting,
and others an inch or so. They thought the more heavy snow would go south,
into the Dallas area. While they did get a good snow, so did we!!! It was
snowing when I got up this morning around 7 a.m., and it is STILL snowing right
now, 6:00 p.m. I'd say it has snowed at LEAST three inches, maybe four! We're all
thrilled with this winter snowfall, and will enjoy it while it lasts. Here
are some pictures I took with my digital camera.... Enjoy!

Here is the first picture I took this morning, out my back door.
It was my first view of the snow, since my back door is right by
my bedroom door, and the first thing I did this morning was peek
out my back door, and to my delight, I saw SNOW!!!

This picture is a view of the back yard from my back porch, looking
toward the church and my old trailer, where I lived before I moved in
to this house.

Another view of my back yard and the parking lot of the church
