Family Pictures

Here are more pictures of my family, and some friends, too.... hope you enjoy them!

Here are two pictures of me when I was a little girl. The one on the left is my mom and dad with me on an Easter Sunday at my mom's parents farm, obviously hunting Easter eggs. The picture on the right is my mom and dad, myself, and my Aunt Evelyn, who lived in Ft. Worth, Texas. This was also on an Easter Sunday, probably when I was about 5 or 6.

Here's a picture of me in 1960 (notice the year on the right hand side of the picture... remember when they put the date on pictures??) when we took a vacation and went to San Antonio, Texas. We're at the San Antonio Zoo, which I remember vividly. I remember the flamingos and how big they were (to me!) and how many of them there were. Here, I'm really checking out the giraffes!

As you can tell from these pictures, my dad loves to fish! The first picture was taken in the summer of 1958 (I was a year old at the time) and the second picture was taken in the summer of 1989. (In the picture on the right, I think Daddy was telling me to hurry up and take the picture 'cause the fish was frozen and his hands were getting cold!) He was really proud of those fish!

Here's a picture of my dad and Aggie, the neighborhood cat who "adoped" my mom and dad. Aggie decided it was naptime, so she just went to sleep right on my dad!

This is my dad and my Uncle Ted at a family reunion in June of 1995. We were at Eisenhower Park on Lake Texoma -- on the Texas side, of course!! The family (my dad's brothers and their children, grandchildren, etc.) have a reunion in the summer. We used to have them every year, and now we are having them every other year.

Here's two darling pictures of my darling cousin Whitney... isn't she the cutest little girl you've ever seen? Well, I certainly think so....

More pictures of Whitney...

Here's a picture of some of my church family. This is Bro. Duane, my pastor, and Nicole (Pierce) Serner on her wedding day. Nicole and I have been friends as long as I have been at Victory. She played flute in our praise band until she got married. Now she and Jason are happily married -- he's a lawyer and she's a teacher.
