Groce Family Reunion 1998

We had our family reunion on June 13, 1998. There were people from as far away as Florida, and others we hadn't seen in years! One cousin had children I'd never met! It was one of the best reunions we've ever had. (but of course they ALL seem that way...) With the exception of one or two families, every one of our living relatives were at the reunion. And you can bet there were lots of pictures taken! Here are some pictures from that famous get-together -- hope you enjoy them!


This is a picture of my dad and his three living brothers. They come from a very large family. From left to right, David (Kyser) Groce, Tom (Mike) Groce, Ted Groce and James (Scooter) Groce.

As you can tell from these pictures, my dad and his brothers love to golf! They get together as often as they can and play a foursome. But we're never quite sure who won, if you know what I mean!

This is Sharon, Shirley and Ronnie Crowley, who came all the way from Florida for the reunion.


Here's my dad and Uncle Scooter sorting through Daddy's collection of golf balls. As you can tell, he has quite a few. (collects them, in fact!) Scooter needed some golf balls, and he wanted a certain kind, so they just dumped them out on the ground and were going through them when I caught them in the act!


This is my Uncle Scooter (James), Aunt Wanda, their daughter Judy and her husband Greg.


Here is possibly the cutest baby in the world, ever, bar none! This is Whitney, and she has a disposition to go with that smile ... she's a doll, if I do say so myself!
