Welcome To

Caesar & Cleo's Cat Page

This is my ORIGINAL page I made for the kitties way back in 1997, when I created my first web page. I am saving this page for "posterity!" LOL

This page is dedicated to my two wonderful kitties, Caesar and Cleo. They are my constant companions (when I'm home, that is!!) and my precious babies. Caesar was adopted off the "streets" so to speak. Someone dropped him outside the church when he was only four weeks old. A co-worker brought him into my office in a box and said, "Does anyone want a cat?" I looked down into the box, and there was the tiniest kitten I ever saw! I picked him up and he immediately "snuggled" and started purring, and I was hooked! There was no turning back after that! He has been a blessing and truly a precious kitty. He thinks I'm his "mom" -- he probably doesn't even remember his cat mom. He is a mackeral tabby -- looks like a tiger -- with the biggest green eyes I've ever seen on a cat! He is so sweet, too. He's strictly an inside kitty, neutered, of course, also. I've had Caesar for a little over three years. He was three years old in November of '97. His birthday is November 21, 1994.

Cleo is my other blessing. I got her from a friend whose cat had kittens. She is black and white, and she was two years old in March. She is also "fixed" and strictly an inside kitty. I got Cleo because I knew even though Caesar loved me, he missed playing with another cat, and he got lonesome during the day while I was at work. So I decided he needed a companion. I was right!! Cleo is the perfect companion for Caesar. She is so loving and playful, and they have the best time playing together! Cleo enjoys being picked up and held, and sometimes she even cries for me to pick her up. However, she wants me to walk around and hold her -- if I sit down, she jumps down! She loves for me to walk up to a wall so she can try to climb the wall.... well, I never said my cats were normal! She loves high places, just like Caesar. One of their favorite spots is on top of the fridge, looking down at their "kingdom" and surveying the land...
sad note... Cleo crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on December 15, 2000. She will be sorely missed.

Caesar and Cleo get along great. They really love wrestling and playing chase up and down the hall (especially at 2:00 a.m.!!) They're really funny -- because she's a "talker" and he -- of course -- is the manly, silent type. She talks ALL the time! He just lets me know when he really needs something (food, attention, play time, etc.) They are really a joy to have around and watch!
Caesar in the mornings!

Caesar is my "alarm clock." If I don't get up right when the alarm goes off, he thinks it's his responsibility to wake me up. So, he starts knocking things around on the night stand, or meowing or even biting my fingers! He thinks if he's up, I should be up to play with him! Cleo, on the other hand, keeps right on sleeping -- whether she's on the bed or on the floor by the bed. She dislikes that alarm as much as I do!

Here are two awards that Caesar & Cleo received that they are SOOO excited over ... Mistic's Award, Presented on January 29, 1998, and the Pawsitively Purr-fect Award. Thanks, Lee Ann and Mistic! Meows and Purrrs to you both!
