Arkansas Trip 1998

On October 26 - 28, 1998, my parents and I took a trip to northern Arkansas to see the fall foliage. This has been an annual tradition with us for many years -- we started taking these trips in the early '70's. Throughout my high school and college days, I could always get off on a Friday, and we would stay Friday through Sunday. However, the past ten years or so, I've been working and unable to take off. My parents have continued their annual trip; they have since retired, and changed the days to Monday through Wednesday. This year, I saved three vacation days from my vacation in the summer, and went to Arkansas with them. The leaves were beautiful this year! We also went to Eureka Springs, and the leaves there were gorgeous, too. They also had wonderful flowers downtown ... I (of course!) took pictures.... Below are some pictures I took on the trip -- and believe me, the pictures don't do justice to what it really looked like. Enjoy!
