This page is created to tell the story of how Ciara came to live with all of the kitties on Larkspur Lane. First, she is a calico kitty, about five months of age, as of this date (September 16, 2005). She belonged to some friends of mine, who loved her, and got her when she was only weeks old.

They enjoyed playing with her and cuddling, but their lives were so busy; they were gone so much, and had trouble finding people to watch her while they were gone. On one trip, the friends asked our mom if they could bring her to our house to stay with us while they were gone out of town. She agreed - and the rest, as they say, is history.

Turns out Ciara is the same age as Charity - and they became instant friends... wrestling, playing, and just hanging out together. When the two daughters came to pick up the kitty, it came out in their conversation that the family was trying to give away the kitty - and so, instead of picking her up, they left her at her new home - with us!

She and Charity get along great - because they are the same age, and both love to play. Chicklet and Chloe are both six years old - so they are much older than Charity, and really do not care to play like Charity does. And Caesar - well - Caesar is just CAESAR - and is too dignified to play! (plus the fact that in November 2005, he will be 11 years old)
