Jazzy's Page
Hi! My name is Jazzy - I'm a green-cheeked conure. When I first came to live with this nice lady, I was 4 1/2 years old, approximately. I lived with her for almost two years - and I am now living in a new home, where a Senegal parrot also lives. I like it a lot... At my first home, I was an "only bird." When I moved in with Skyler & Kiwi & Tweety, I really enjoyed the company. For the first time, I had other birds to chat with during the day, and then at night, Mom would come home and I had HER to play with!!
At my first house, the daughter of the family liked me and played with me a lot. But for some reason, she moved out, and I stayed. Wasn't really sure why. But the parents of the daughter really didn't have much time to spend with me. So I was lonely and felt sad that I didn't have anyone to play with me. But one night, (Wednesday, September 25, 2002), a nice lady came to see me. She exclaimed how beautiful I was.... and decided to take me home right then! So they loaded my cage, my smaller carrier cage, and all my food and stuff into this lady's car and she brought me from Texas to Oklahoma!
Then in May of 2004, a couple who were friends of my mom, came to visit her. I really loved them - I kept playing with them, perching on first the lady, then the man. I took up with them immediately, and we all knew I would be happy living with them. I went home with them that day.... and have lived there ever since! I really love my new home! It is so much fun, and I get lots more individual attention - cos there is only one other bird in the whole house!! Can you believe that?? WOW!!
